Refund Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
A game that never gets built should not cost you anything. This refund policy sets out how refunds work at SiGameGen, the SI game generator at sigamegen.com: which failures give your credits back automatically, when a card payment can be reversed, and how to contact us. Every build uses paid computing time on a code model (SI is short for super intelligence, formerly called AI), so this refund policy aims to be fair to you and sustainable for us. It covers every credit pack bought on sigamegen.com.
Automatic credit refunds for failed builds
When you start a build or a change, its credits (18 on Fast, 89 on Pro) are held, and they are only spent if a working game file comes back. You never need to ask for this kind of refund. A build counts as failed, and its credits return in full, in cases such as these:
- the model stops before finishing the file, or returns something that is not a complete HTML game;
- the version you asked to change was deleted before the change could run;
- the build is still unfinished 45 minutes after it started, for example because Workers AI was down and our automatic retries could not get through.
Most failed builds are refunded the moment they fail, and a stuck build is refunded about 45 minutes after you started it. The failed version stays in your version list with a short note saying its credits were refunded. Requests turned away before they start, because our moderation check blocked the text, you already have three builds running or building is briefly paused, are never charged at all.
Games you are not happy with
Under this refund policy, a game that loads and plays but is not what you imagined counts as a successful build. Each build uses real computing time, so we do not refund credits for games that are buggy, too easy, too hard, plain-looking or missing part of your idea. The cheaper fix is to ask for a change: describe one thing at a time, such as “make the jump higher” or “enemies should not spawn on top of the player”. Try new ideas on Fast for 18 credits, and switch to Pro for 89 credits when you want a bigger or more polished game.
Common situations
- A build seems stuck. Running builds are checked every few minutes. If one is still unfinished 45 minutes after it started, it is cancelled and refunded with nothing for you to do.
- The game never starts. If a version shows only a blank or frozen screen in a current version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox, even after you press Restart, email us its share link. We look at the file, and if it is technically broken we return the credits for that version.
- A change broke something that worked. That is normal when working with a code model, and it is not treated as a failure. Earlier versions stay playable, so you can compare them and ask for the fix again with a clearer description.
- You deleted a version. Its file is erased and its link stops working, while the credits spent on it stay spent.
- High scores disappeared. Games cannot save data in your browser, so scores reset when the page reloads. That is by design, not a defect.
Trying the generator first
Sign up with Google and you receive 80 free credits, which covers four Fast builds. The gift center tops that up with small rewards for checking in each day, finishing your first game, inviting friends and more, so you can judge the generator before spending money. The build button always shows what a build will cost, and our SI game generator pricing page compares the packs. When in doubt, buy the smallest one; anything you buy later is added to the same balance.
Credit packs and when a payment is refunded
A pack is paid once. The credits are added as soon as Stripe confirms your payment, and they do not expire. Each pack comes with extra credits:
- Starter ($9.90): 1,000 credits + 10% bonus = 1,100 credits.
- Creator ($29.90): 3,000 credits + 20% bonus = 3,600 credits.
- Studio ($79.90): 8,000 credits + 30% bonus = 10,400 credits.
Members who buy their first pack within 48 hours of registering receive another 30% on top. Since credits are usable the instant they land, a purchase cannot be undone except in the situations listed in this refund policy. Your money goes back to the original card or payment method if:
- you were charged more than once for the same order;
- you paid but no credits appeared in your account;
- an error on our end blocked you from the service and stayed unfixed for an unreasonable time;
- you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have spent none of the pack’s credits, and you ask within 14 days of the purchase;
- a consumer protection law that applies to you requires a refund.
How a refund changes your balance
Reversing a payment under this refund policy also reverses what it brought in: the pack’s credits, its bonus and, if you received it, the new-member bonus. Credits you already used are not clawed back; we only take what is still in your balance, which therefore never goes negative. The refunded order still counts as your first purchase, so the new-member offer is not available a second time.
Free and promotional credits
Credits from sign-up and the gift center have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. The one refund this refund policy gives them is the automatic return when a build fails, and we may cancel any that were farmed with duplicate or fake accounts.
Examples
- A Pro build fails. You ask Pro for a tower defense game and the model stops halfway through the file. The version is marked failed, and the 89 held credits are back in your balance immediately.
- A duplicate charge. Your bank statement lists the Creator pack twice. Email us the date and amount, and the second payment is refunded in full.
- Leftover credits. You stop using SiGameGen with part of a Starter pack unspent. The purchase stays final, and the remaining credits wait in your account without an expiry date.
- Refund after partial use. You bought the Starter pack as a new member and it was your only source of credits: 1,430 in all, made of 1,000 base credits, the 10% pack bonus and the 30% new-member bonus. After 30 Fast builds (540 credits), we agree to a refund because of a fault on our side. We remove the 890 still in your balance, which leaves it at zero, and the 540 you spent are never billed back.
Asking for a refund
Email support@sigamegen.com from your sign-in address no later than 14 days after the payment, and tell us the date, amount and pack. For a game that never starts, include its share link; for a duplicate charge, a screenshot showing both statement lines speeds things up. Expect an answer within about two business days. Approved money refunds go to the original payment method, and most banks show them within 5 to 10 business days.
No subscriptions
SiGameGen sells no plans or memberships, so this refund policy never involves cancelling one. You are only charged when you decide to buy a pack yourself.
Currency and bank fees
We price and charge in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank may add conversion or foreign transaction fees; those are between you and your bank and fall outside this refund policy, but an approved refund always returns every dollar you paid.
Price changes
New pack prices or new credit costs for a tier never shrink the credits you already hold. The build button shows the cost before you start, and exactly that amount is deducted.
Who handles refunds
Refunds are handled by the SiGameGen team alone; Cloudflare and the companies that designed the models cannot help with them, so contact us directly. If we close an account for violating our Terms of Service, for instance by farming free credits with fake accounts, its remaining credits may be forfeited.
Chargebacks
Before you open a dispute with your bank, please email us: it is normally faster, and genuine problems get fixed quickly. An account may be paused while a dispute over one of its payments is open.
Updates to this refund policy
When the service changes, we revise this refund policy and change the date shown above. Each purchase falls under the version published on the day you bought it. Questions about this refund policy can go to support@sigamegen.com; see also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
