How the SI game generator works
- Describe the game. Say what the player controls, what they are trying to do, how they lose and how it should look. One sentence works; three or four sentences work better.
- Wait a minute or two. A code model running on Cloudflare writes the complete game: drawing code, input handling for keyboard and touch, a title screen, scoring, difficulty and a restart button. Pro builds take longer, usually three to seven minutes.
- Play, then refine by chat. Ask for changes in plain words — “make the jumps higher”, “add a boss”, “use a pastel palette”. Each change becomes a new version, and earlier versions stay one click away.
Because the result is one self-contained file, there is nothing to install. Games open instantly in any modern browser, on a laptop, a tablet or a phone.
What you can make
- Arcade and action. Space shooters, brick breakers, endless runners and dodge games. These build reliably on either tier.
- Platformers. Jumping, gems, enemies and a goal flag. Ask for several short levels rather than one huge map.
- Puzzles. Match-3, sliding tiles, memory cards, 2048-style merges and logic grids with a timer or move limit.
- One-button games. Flappy-style flyers and timing games that work perfectly on a phone with a single tap.
- Classics with a twist. Snake, Pong, Breakout or Tetris-like ideas in a new theme, with your own rules and power-ups.
- Learning games. Typing practice, math drills, flag quizzes and spelling races for a class or your kids.
Fast or Pro: two ways to build
Fast (18 credits) uses DeepSeek V4 Flash with reasoning switched off, so it starts writing immediately. It is great for one-screen arcade ideas and for quick tweaks. Pro (89 credits) uses Kimi K2.7 Code, a model built for programming that plans before it writes. Pick it for platformers with several levels, bosses, menus or long, detailed prompts. You can choose the tier for every single request, so many people build the first version on Pro and make small changes on Fast. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
How to write a prompt that makes a good game
The SI game generator follows your words closely, so a complete brief gets you a better first version and fewer paid fixes. Cover these points:
- The hero and the controls: “a frog that hops between lanes with the arrow keys or swipes”.
- The goal and the score: “reach the pond at the top; each crossing is 100 points”.
- How you lose: “three lives, hit by a car or falling in the river”.
- How it gets harder: “cars speed up after every crossing”.
- The look and feel: “bright pixel art, chunky outlines, little splash particles”.
Compare “make a frog game” with the brief above. The short version still works, but the model has to guess everything, and you will spend credits steering it. Naming a familiar genre (“like Frogger”, “a Breakout clone”) is a quick way to describe the rules, but ask for your own theme and characters rather than copying a famous game.
Change your game by chat
After the first build, the box under your game becomes a change request. Group several edits into one message — “slower enemies, a pause button and a purple background” — and the model rewrites the game with all of them. If a change goes wrong, open the previous version from the list and continue from there. Nothing is ever overwritten.

Share, download and own your games
Every finished version has a share link that anyone can open and play without an account. The Download button saves the game as one HTML file you own: upload it to itch.io or your own website, drop it into a lesson, or open it in a code editor and keep going by hand. We add no watermark and no ads to your games.
What “SI” means
In September 2026 the US government started using SI, short for super intelligence, for the technology formerly called AI. An SI game generator is therefore the same idea people searched for as an AI game generator or AI game maker: software that writes a game from your description. We use the new name, but the models, the code and the games are what matter.
What it can’t do yet
Games are single-player and run entirely inside the page, so there is no online multiplayer, no account system and no saved high scores after a reload. All graphics are drawn in code and sounds are synthesized, which keeps every game to a single file; you cannot upload your own sprites yet. Very large projects, such as a full RPG with an inventory and dozens of maps, are better built as a series of smaller games. For pictures and clips, our sister sites cover the SI image generator and the SI video generator.
Frequently asked questions
What is an SI game generator?
SI stands for super intelligence, the name the US government now uses for what used to be called AI. An SI game generator is a tool where a code model writes a complete, playable game from a plain-English description, so you can make a game without programming.
Is the SI game generator free?
New accounts that continue with Google get 80 free credits, enough for 4 Fast builds. After that, credit packs start at $9.90 for 1,100 credits. Playing, sharing and downloading games never costs anything.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the game and ask for changes in normal sentences. If you do code, you can download the HTML file and edit it in any text editor; it is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no build step.
Do the games work on phones?
Every game is asked to support both keyboard and touch, with tap, swipe or on-screen buttons. If a control feels awkward on your phone, ask for bigger buttons or a different gesture.
Who owns the games I make?
You do. You can publish them on your own site, on itch.io or in a classroom, including commercially, as long as you follow our Terms of Service and do not copy other people’s characters or brands.
What happens if a build fails?
Sometimes a model stops early or returns broken code. The build is then marked as failed and its credits return to your balance automatically. You only pay for games you receive.
